Course Expectations
- Come to class every day on time and prepare to learn with an open mind.
- Participate! Be an active contributor in class.
- Complete all homework/projects assigned using good time management and demonstrating scholarly effort. Be aware of and follow the school plagiarism policy at all times.
- Be respectful at all times. This includes your peers, teacher, and the classroom environment.
- Be a self-advocate. Take full ownership and responsibility for yourself and your learning outcomes. If you need help or complications occur, it is your job to communicate effectively with your teachers. Students should immediately communicate with their teacher should any issues arise—such as illness, sporting events, family emergencies, or difficulties with the class—that interfere with class attendance and completion of assignments. Students should contact the teacher if/when they will be absent on the day of a quiz, unit test, midterm, or final exam. Students can speak with their teacher before/after school or in class, during tutorials, and via email if any issues arise.
