Hello!  Hola!  My name is Mrs. Mary Murphy and this is my 20th year here at PHS and my 24th year teaching Spanish.  Nine years ago I joined the AVID Tribe here at Pacifica by teaching AVID 9, which I love!!!  I am happily married to Frank who I have known since I was a Freshman in high school and we have three children Deirdre, Declan, and Michaela ranging from 17 to 12 years old.  They keep us busy after school with Swim and Water Polo!  My oldest daughter is a Junior in HS and my son is a 9th grader, our 12 year old is in the 7th grade.  

 

This year I am teaching Spanish 3 (periods 1 & 3) and I serve as the Co-Department Chair of the World Language department.  During period 2 I am teaching AVID 9.  During period 4, our ASB Leadership class meets and we plan events and support events on and off campus!!  

 

In addition, I am the advisor of our program called Mariner Mentors where our 11th and 12th grade Mentors help to guide the 9th graders who are new to our campus.
